The Medacta PEEK CF Interference Screws are made of carbon-reinforced PEEK-OPTIMA. Both the PEEK CF and Titanium interference screws are recommended for use in the fixation of ligaments and tendons in both soft tissue and bone-ligament-bone applications.
• Non-absorbable, radiolucent, and MR safe
• Modulus of elasticity closely matches cortical bone
• Bioinert
• Naturally lubricious, minimizes “graft clocking”
• Fully threaded design provides optimal fixation for both soft tissue and BTB grafts
• Rounded edge protects soft tissue grafts
• Provides a positive driver-to-screw interface with a driver that is cannulated, tapered & square
• Distributes insertion torque and eliminates “driver capture”
Titanium Interference Screws
• Made of 6Al-4V ELI titanium alloy
• Provides the strength and stiffness required for successful ligament reconstruction
• Fully threaded design provides optimal fixation for both soft tissue and BTB grafts
• Rounded edge protects tissue grafts
