Partial knee replacement (PKR) is a valuable alternative to total knee arthroplasty (TKA) for patients with isolated unicompartmental osteoarthritis. It is associated with significant benefits, such as the preservation of knee proprioception and anatomical structures, better knee mobility in terms of range of motion, minimally invasive surgery that leads to a shorter hospital stay, a faster recovery and a higher level of activity.
